Course Structure
Introduction & Materials
Learn about different palette knives, mediums, and surfaces. Practice applying paint thickly and confidently while exploring basic textural marks.
Moselle River
Create a soft, glowing landscape with fields and a winding river. You’ll learn how to build depth with layers, use warm color palettes, and create movement through textured strokes.
Wild Strawberries
Capture the delicate beauty of wild strawberries nestled among flowers and leaves. This workshop focuses on building form with rich impasto techniques, layering thick paint to create texture, enhancing highlights, and bringing out the natural vibrancy and freshness of the berries and foliage.
Twilight Glow
Explore the beauty of a seaside sunset in rich violet and orange tones using expressive oil impasto techniques. In this course, you’ll learn how to build texture with thick paint, capture glowing light, and create a striking lighthouse scene full of atmosphere and depth.
Field of Poppies
Create a vibrant landscape inspired by the expressive energy of Vincent van Gogh. The course teacher - Valeria
Valeria began her artistic journey at an art school and later earned a degree in Graphic Design at university. She has experience teaching drawing to both children and adults in different countries.
Valeria explores a wide range of creative disciplines: clay sculpting, knitting, embroidery, collage, sketchbooking, home decoration, mural painting, tattoo design, and much more. Among all these directions, her greatest passion lies in illustration and painting, with watercolor being her favorite medium.
In her classes, Valeria will happily introduce you to the world of oil, immerse you in creativity and inspiration in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and guide you in creating your very own works of art.
