In this illustration course, you’ll build confidence in drawing and visual storytelling through guided creative exercises. You’ll learn to simplify shapes, develop ideas, and create expressive illustrations.
You’ll receive an A5 illustration notebook and pens to use during the course and continue illustrating on your own time.

Your own materials set included
We’ll provide you with an A5 sketchbook for your drawings throughout the course, along with a set of 8 pens that are yours to keep. These materials will be used in every lesson, so please bring your set with you each time.
Course Structure
Time to Travel
Explore the art of combining simple objects, symbols and decorative elements into one cohesive illustration. You’ll learn how to create visual rhythm, balance a composition and use expressive linework to tell a story without words.
A Place to Escape
Learn how to build an illustrated landscape using layers, perspective, scale and texture. You’ll discover how trees, mountains, water and architecture can work together to create depth and atmosphere.
A Room in Lines
Learn the fundamentals of drawing an interior, including perspective, proportions and the placement of furniture and decorative objects. You’ll turn a complex space into a clean, expressive line illustration while adding your own artistic details.
The Pattern Tree
Discover how simple lines, shapes and repeated motifs can transform an ordinary tree into a highly decorative artwork. You’ll create your own collection of patterns and learn how to combine them with controlled composition and selective acrylic-marker colour.
The Pattern Bird
Bring together line, texture, pattern and colour in a detailed illustrated bird. You’ll learn how to divide a complex subject into sections, develop contrasting patterns and add carefully chosen acrylic-marker accents to create a sophisticated final piece.

The course teacher - Valeriia
Valeria began her artistic journey at an art school and later earned a degree in Graphic Design at university. She has experience teaching drawing to both children and adults in different countries.
Valeria explores a wide range of creative disciplines: clay sculpting, knitting, embroidery, collage, sketchbooking, home decoration, mural painting, tattoo design, and much more. Among all these directions, her greatest passion lies in illustration and painting, with watercolor being her favorite medium.
In her classes, Valeria will happily introduce you to the world of watercolor, immerse you in creativity and inspiration in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and guide you in creating your very own works of art.
